I still think Frenchy and Melky were both using PED's in 11. One got paid and stopped they other was trying for a mega contract and pushed his luck.

I'd take a chance I'm getting the 4.8 WAR player from 2011.

So you guys are all willing to give Bourjos the benefit of the doubt but Hosmer is a failed prospect? Just pointing out a little hypocrisy.... (specifically from Deez)

I don't think deez has ever called hosmer a failed prospect.

I'm pointing out complete bullshit right here.

I've said I would have traded Hosmer before Myers, and I stand by that statement. The former's defense is vastly overrated, and there are some legit concerns about his approach.

That said, he has tremendous natural ability and could rebound nicely in '13. Not necessarily banking on it, but definitely not ruling it out.

And the Bourjos comparison is horse ****ing shit, since '11 is his only full season of play, and it was really, really good.

Fair enough. Maybe I've misunderstood some epic rants in the 2010 thread.

I have no doubt that I've mother****ed him and his long, loopy, overswinging, Frenchy-imitating swing several times in individual game threads.

I'm on record on this site as saying I'm confident Hos will bounce back, and I was opposed to trading him.

I'll go ahead and go on record for that, as well.

They just have to get that loop out and he will be a Barry Bonds who can play first base.

Personally, I don't think there is one player on this roster who isn't trade-able to the right offer besides Escobar and Perez.

Why don't you just say there are two players who aren't tradable then?
