I agree with you, but I think we are the minority.

Yeah, a buddy of mine lives in Weatherford, Texas. Drives for an oil company. Doesn't deliver crude, but he pulls water from wells. He was laid off last summer.

Those jobs will come back quickly once the price rises again.

My friend who is in oilfield equipment sales/leasing was laid off last week. I was surprised he made it as long as he did.

And you have a fetish for high oil prices.

No I don't.

I think $20-25 is the bottom and even if it isn't, I will buy the hell out of oil stocks both personally and energy mutual funds in my 401K.

Sometimes you just gotta take matters into your own hands...

I presume you mean with regard to gasoline prices?

If so, the price of crude has been stagnant as well, until a few days ago.

This morning on the news they were saying it could get down to $10. Thinking about the same thing myself. When Trump becomes Prez and nukes Iran and then pisses off the rest of the ME we could see $150 oil.

Donger 01-12-2016 02:32 PM

Briefly touched $29.93

There still doesn't seem to be a complete capitulation or panic that would signal we are near a bottom. It's just a slow eroding of value.

How long did you cry when that happened?

I certainly don't see $10.00. And I have trouble seeing $20.00. Maybe $25.00

I don't believe that.

I bet it was close to 3 minutes.

I fail to see why you think I'd be upset about crude being low.
