I'm not trading up for anyone other than Mahomes, and I don't really like that.

Ideally I would love to get Webb at 27 and then use multiple picks to trade up for Zach Cunningham or Raekwon McMillan in rd 2. |

Jax taking a qb (I'd guess Watson ) would get things going quickly.
I'm starting to think this ends up being the Gabbert draft where these teams talk themselves into these guus, play them early and they suck |

For instance, I think the Cards going QB is probably bullshit. It just doesn't add up right now, not at 12. But if you're a team that's 5-6 spots ahead of them, you hear they're looking QB so you start sending out signals to suggest their QB might not be there at 12 so they need to move up to 8 to get their guy. When 'their guy' is a fabrication. It's bullshit born of bullshit at this point. I've reached the '**** it - stick to the board until 20' stage of the proceedings because I think there's a whole lot of bluffing going on right now. |

I mentioned it in another thread, but if you're Fitz and Palmer, how do you not get pissed off when the Cards take a QB that needs at least a year on the bench over guys ready to have an impact now? Why would they come back for that? Also, something about Arians makes me think he'd feel the same way. |

I find it interesting that Peter King said the Cards "want a day 1 starter" in his mock. |
Think of the talent that would be there at 27 if all these teams actually took a QB. if 5 Qbs get taken we would have someone extremely talented fall to us. Then I wouldn't even be mad if they didn't take a qb even though I want one bad because I hate Alex Smith

But this is a team that was considered a legit SB contender in '16 who still has David Johnson and a dynamic offense and who is staring down the barrel of a LOADED draft that doesn't see it's first fall off until the mid-teens. They can get a guy at 13 that's no worse a bet than the guy that goes at 2, IMO. That's not necessarily the case at 16-17 but up where the Cards are, there are still guys that will be in the mix for top 5 consideration that will be available to them. I just can't get there. I could be proven wrong but too much about that simply doesn't make sense. |
Cards will try to move up from the 2nd rd to get Kizer or Webb
