Dag , it's going to be a long two years of waiting on the sidelines. you can relive those previous 7 seasons where we averaged 5 wins a season.

So one game between two teams with high offensive power in a playoff game...there HAS to be a winner. And because one of those teams wins you understand the fallacy of saying "a high-powered offense can make up for anything".

Passing TDs of the last 17 Super Bowl winning teams:

You can't win a Super Bowl with a guy throwing 15 TD passes.

I can out wait Smith, NO problem. Thing is, it won't be that long of a wait regardless of what those voices in your head keep telling you.

Hell Matt Moore barely missed 300 yards passing going 29/36 and having a 98 QB rating while Alex couldn't do anything.

And that was @ Shitsburg, Alex couldn't do it in front of the home crowd!!

Of course you can, and we should've.

Yeah, I don't know what we're going to do if we ever get away from winning 11 games a year but not having a chance to win the SB. That'd be too bad.

Smith total TD's as a dual-threat QB over the last 4 seasons (20, 22, 19, 24) is in the neighborhood of the vast majority of those TD counts you want to post

You make it sound like he's off by an entire standard deviation. Your football takes are shit. Accept that and stop embarrassing yourself.

Did you read the link?

I don't care if Reid said he held him out, ANY coach would do that. Reid also took the blame for several interceptions this season, do you believe that too?

Read the link where Alex said he was involved in the decision and only has one brain.

He held himself out of that game for not having a concussion. I don't see how it's even debatable

St. Patty's Fire 01-22-2017 01:01 PM

why do ppl even give him attention lmao

Unfamiliar territory we're in. You know. After 11 seasons of dog shit we are now fielding squads that can play with the best in the most competitive era of football. But somehow you don't want to recognize that our highest paid veterans aren't giving us production (Tamba, Houston, Charles, Maclin) ...

But blame the QB despite the fact his efficiency continues to climb..

Leave the management to Dorsey.

That's apples to oranges, add in all those qbs rushing tds and see where they are at you disingenuous ****.

Yeah I read the link. Anyone with half a brain with common sense knows that Smith was concussed and the team held him out.

F**k his damn efficiency. The only efficiency I see is he is very consistent in missing wide-open TD opportunities.

Talk about 'hidden touchdowns'. That's what they should have meant. All the ones that he leaves on the field.

They sold out to stop Jay Ajayi (4.9 ypc this season), one of the best RB"s in the league and held him to 2.1 ypc in that playoff game...They knew matt moore was going to shit the bed when the game was on the line.

Did you watch the game? I will go with....NO.

So even at his best (2013), Smith isn't even reaching the NFL AVERAGE for Super Bowl teams?

That's damning evidence right there, bud.

If you want to add rushing TDs to the list it gets even more embarrassing for Smith.
