Vinny as are all the Raider “insiders” has nothing and throws crapola against the wall and sees what sticks. Not saying Mayer won’t be traded but Vinny is guessing and has zero “inside” info. He carries no credibility with Raider fans

Kyler Murray traded to the Raiders is a yearly tradition I was unaware of

Is he even "tradeable" with his contract?

Would be funny to see Rodgers/Adams go to the Raiders. Rodgers would be a cheap deal and Adams with a less expensive contract.

HENDERSON, Nev. -- Four-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby has agreed to a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Las Vegas Raiders that makes him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

Good, keep him on a losing team.

I think its a good signing. He is the face of the Raiders and he is most definitely the leader now

His coverage sucks, but he makes up for it with poor tackling.

dannybcaitlyn 04-08-2025 11:53 AM

A corner who has a nose for the ball. I’d bring him in to compete.

jdubya 04-27-2025 12:29 PM

Raiders had a decent draft with signs of a competent front office:

"CBS guy loves our draft saying we were one of three teams to ace the draft:

Raiders new general manager John Spytek, take a bow. What a debut. Jeanty was one of the clear blue-chippers available in this class. Bech is one of the most complete receivers in the class who's going to rock in the middle of the field. Throw in the addition of Thornton, a 6-foot-5 burner with 4.30 speed, and Geno Smith should be popping champagne.

Porter has immense upside because of his athleticism and length at cornerback, and Rogers possesses similar potential as a stellar athlete in his own right who played nearly 4,400 snaps in college at four positions. Pegues and especially Hemingway give the defense pass-rushing juice on the inside. I even compared Cam Miller to Brock Purdy.

This is a masterpiece for a team that needed skill-position weapons on offense and depth on defense.

Grade: A"

Eureka 04-27-2025 12:59 PM

The Raiders put together a great coaching staff. That alone should improve them immensely overall.

Geno Smith is an upgrade but they still need to continue to develop a QB.

The defense is suspect and the only thing working in their favor there is continuing with the same defensive coordinator.

Bowser 04-27-2025 01:21 PM

Bowers and Jeanty together are going to be a problem.

I'm afraid the Raiders might be a little sneaky this season. I'm not a believer in Chip Kelly, but Pete will have that team ready to run through a wall for him.

BWillie 04-27-2025 01:25 PM

Raiders are going to be much improved.

Pete should be most concerned about having the team wheel him down to the dining hall right at 5:00 so he doesn't miss out on a window table that looks out at the bird feeder

I could see them getting almost double their wins last season. 7-10 here they come!

lewdog 04-27-2025 01:31 PM

Wow so they might win 7 games.

Yawn.

Possibly.

But a trend has to begin somewhere and I think they have the staff and front office that’s refreshingly a 180 of what we have all seen for almost 20 years.

I guess you haven’t paid any attention lately and that’s cool.

I’m a gray beard and am a very cynical person when it comes to the Raiders but even I can see a difference. Granted, until Mark Davis sells the team I won’t be completely convinced of real change lol.

8 wins seems like the floor. Clearly depends on many factors including how this rookie class pans out.

7 wins would be a disappointment. 10 wins a comparatively wild success compared to where we've been.

Woogieman 04-27-2025 03:35 PM

I don't think the Chiefs will wrap up the 10th striaght AFC West crown until after Thanksgiving this year...the division has improved that much!

The very fact that they did NOT draft Shedeur is evidence that the Raiders are not as dumb as in the past...they might even be getting good at this football thing...

Raider beat writers are the worst. They, Vic included, are usually 48 hours late on news thats already been discussed in Raider forums and chats.

Raiders removing the monkeys from admin and replacing with real professionals. Dork Davis still owns the team but.......

Why do Raider fans always think they’re in contention every year?

Bronco fans are the thinnest skinned but Raider fans are just purely delusional (except for MarkDavis’Haircut, I like that guy).
