We've been pretty nice up to this point, so I'm going to play a little bad cop.
Deandre, if you sign with us in the next 24 hours, all will be forgiven. We won't mention any part of your wishy washy behavior and you'll be fully embraced as a Chief. If you don't, I can't be held responsible for some of the mean things people might say about you on the internet. |

I told this one guy from work the day he was cut that he’d be a Chief within a week and I’ve already made a fool of myself to that guy, whatever his name was. I can’t very well show my face in his area of the building again until DeAndre signs. What happens if my area of the building is out of coffee and I have to grab some from his side? I’m totally screwed! |
This guy really churns by butter

Sorry for the language. I’m just frustrated.

Obviously Mahomes is going to effect their stats. I Googled list of QBs and Kirk Cousin came in the middle.* If an otherwise average NFL offense had Kirk at QB and KC's WR's, and an average head coach, and average TE's, where do you think the WRs would end up production wise at the end of the season? *A different list had Cousin at 10 so feel free to substitute Geno, Goff, or Daniel Jones. |

They’re actually really good in the Chipotle BBQ sauce from Q39. We have leftovers from Q39 and my son was eating McNuggets. I danced with the devil in the pale moonlight. |

I admit and have all along that it's uncomfortable having so many questions. I just think it's absolutely the right path. Just like they did with corners last year. |
We should absolutely sign this guy unless we don’t

I kinda thought that maybe it wouldn't be horrible if we signed him to a one year $5 mil deal, but then decided that I wouldn't really even want him for the vet minimum. We have too many young guys that I'd rather see playing instead of steroid boy.
With the trio of Mahomes, Kelce and Reid we are pretty much good for an AFCCG appearance. Adding Hopkins doesn't do anything to increase that floor, but what it could do is keep guys off the field that we need to have a good look at. Say Kelce starts to drop off this year. What I want to know is if Toney, Moore, Rice, or even James can come close to providing what Kelce gets us year after year and I want to find that out before we have to replace him. I'm sure that Reid and Veach want to know just how good the young guys are, so if God forbid Kelce takes a small step back, then they will have some kind of an idea if we need to go out and make a big move to replace his production or if we have most of it covered. Hopkins doesn't have much left in the tank and isn't going to be able to come close to replacing Kelce's production for 1 season let alone 3-4 more seasons. No to Hopkins from me! Even for free! |

The Bengals have the best group of WRs and thus is how they stacked up. #1 Chase 1046 #2 Boyd 1049 #3 Higgins 762 #7 Irwin 231 #9 Taylor 62 #11 Thomas 38 So those are there WRs only, but in my comparison I'm going to use Kelce because he is used just like a WR and he gets by far the most balls thrown his way, so I just can't not count him #1 Kelce 1338 #2 JJSS 933 #3 MVS 687 #5 Watson 315 #7 Hardman 297 #8 Moore 250 #9 Toney 171 We got more out of our group, then they did. Plus we won the Super ****ing Bowl. |

I'm not sure draft position is proof of talent or future production... Toney has health concerns and other WRs certainly have potential but certainly also remain to be proven. But I noticed you didn't take up my challenge. So I think a lot comes down to Toney's health and I'll be pleasantly surprised to see him play more than 12 or 13 games. But would a Geno or Goff (with Toney playing 13 games) on an average team get this WR group in the top half? Maybe? |

Chiefs have the least salary cap space of any team per source.

I'm absolutely certain that the organization disagrees with that, and I trust Veach, Andy, and Patrick. To me, they've proven they know what they're doing. Juju is a pro, but not special. Hardman never developed beyond a gadget player. I see zero reason why the room won't be better than last season, barring injury issues, and we're deeper if that happens. By November, this WR group will be the talk of the league, I bet. I'm excited to see the next stars blossom. |
I buy Chic-fil-a sauce in the bottle and dip my nuggets in that too.

Ok gang, good news! I had a dream last night, where we were beating Bingville 14-3. Then I woke up a little sad, but I cheered right up when I realized it was only a dream, because I know we’ll beat Bingville by way more than that!
This can only mean one thing, Lance Harbor would have gone on to big things if he didn’t lose his ride due to Billy Bob being a fat ass! So, any news on this Hopkins guy? Piece of shit we sign yet or what? |

Most players don't care about winning. They want to get paid and maximize their earnings.
Guys like OBJ and Hopkins have a lot of money which basically means they want to keep that lifestyle over winning a ring. In the case of someone like OBJ, he already has a ring so that box is checked. |
Guys, it's going to be okay. I'm not sure how many AFCCG'S and Super Bowls we have to go to before you decide to trust the organization knows what they're doing, but you ought to be there by now.

Julio Jones 10,892 yds DeAndre Hopkins 10,496 yds Mike Evans 10,425 yds Travis Kelce 10,344 yds He's tied with DHop for 3rd in rec TDs with 69 TDs since 2014 Since he's been with Mahomes he's been 3rd in rec yds (6444 yds) behind Hill (6564 yds) a,Dr,rrnd Adams (6826 yds). He gets a ton of targets, yds, and TDs, because he is the best ever to do it at his position and one of the best pass catchers ever in this league. How in the **** could I not include him? Take him out and it's still really god damn close Bengals WRs had 3188 rec yds Chiefs WRs had 2653 rec yds Bengals WR only had a 535 yd lead over a group of guys that missed out on 152 targets because of a TE. Seems to me they did fine, MegatronJR. |

NFL News: DeAndre Hopkins' free-agency decision sends message to Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes Story by Fernando Franco Puga • 2h ago DeAndre Hopkins is looking for a new team to play for in the 2023 NFL season. Now, the wide receiver has made a risky decision during this free-agency that sends a strong message to the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. There isn’t much time left for DeAndre Hopkins to choose his next landing spot. Amidst all the rumors surrounding the wide receiver, he has made a surprising and risky decision during this free agency, sending a message to the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. Hopkins is testing the free-agency market for the first time in his career. The receiver was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals, who decided to save some money and part ways with the 31-year-old after he failed to live up to the expectations. As of today, the former Houston Texans player has only visited the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Titans. However, he has recently made a controversial move that could add another team to the race to sign him: the Chiefs. Training camps have already started, and DeAndre Hopkins has not yet decided on his new team. Fans eagerly await his decision, but the wide receiver is taking his time to carefully select the best possible landing spot. According to reports, Hopkins wants to play for a Super Bowl contender this year, but it is not the only thing he’s looking for. The former 27th-overall pick is looking for a lucrative contract, with salary demands that may be too high for several teams. As said before, patience really describes Hopkins nowadays. The wide receiver has recently decided to convince multiple teams to offer him a contract to see which one is the best for him, and this move could be a direct message to the Kansas City Chiefs. Hopkins’ salary demands are too high for the Chiefs, but it seems like he’s giving the club extra time to clear cap space to sign him. “You still have teams like maybe the Chiefs that could clear up some money closer to training camp, then they could get in involved,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said. “There are some contenders there, but right now, he is staying put and waiting for the right situation.” Even though the Chiefs don’t have enough money to sign Hopkins, Chris Jones’ contract extension could change this situation. As the receiver is not in a rush to sign with anyone, Kansas City may have an opportunity to clear cap space and upgrade Patrick Mahomes’ offense with a five-time Pro Bowler. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...3926753b&ei=31 News to me that "Training camps have already started..." Maybe he meant OTAs? |

It's not just about salary for KC; signing Hopkins necessarily means losing another quality player from the roster. Even someone like Allegretti might be more valuable at this point. There simply aren't Sabby Piscatellis taking up spots anymore.
