To refresh now that we're done:

The Menzie pick is easily my favorite, followed closely by Gray, Allen and Hemingway - in that order.

Not at all a fan of our other picks.

Our defensive backfield is looking pretty bad ass.

Yeah, I didn't say I wasn't guilty of having a touch of aspie in me. LMAO

He is good for cute gifs and baseless blind rants of hatred. Anything else? Worthless.

IF he can pick up the playbook and NFL routes (BIG IF), then he is immediately our 4th best WR and a likely replacement for Breaston down the road.

Just a pet theory, but I think he may be one of the players most negatively impacted by Rich Rodriguez's offense/coaching, which is why I put forward the idea that he may be better in the league than in college.

I also think he could also get lost in the shuffle.

Boy am I glad I did not take the time to watch the draft today.

This honestly I think has been one of the must underwhelming drafts I've ever seen with the Chiefs.

The guy I'm most excited about is Dontari Poe. And he's a big question mark. Wow.

Everybody else? Meh.

I bet I can run a mile without ending up in the hospital.

Dude, pretty much anyone who watches football at least has heard the name Junior Hemingway. He is the #1 WR on one of the biggest(and historically winningest) football programs in the US.

Probably would have heard of him more often if Denard could throw consistanly.

I bet you can as well. Running a mile isn't really the end all be all of athletic achievements.

Good too see my buddy Antonio Allen finally gets picked

O.city 04-28-2012 05:00 PM

Would have liked to have grabbed Allen in the 7th for some safety depth, but not sure how well he fits.

I absolutely agree. I think he would be a legit 2nd/3rd round guy if he hadn't been stuck in that goofy offense and spent half his time looking back to see if Denard was running and he needed to block. At this point, it's hard to say if he will be able to adjust or not... but he is definitely worth the risk as a 7th rounder. As has been pointed out, he is worth it for his blocking ability alone.

Linebacker depth scares the **** out of me on this team.
