Most damning thing of the season? I believe there were no offensive TD's scored by a WR this year... seriously!

As a whole the defense improved a fair amount from last year and the rushing attack was quality but God the passing attack of KU's sucked something fierce. Very eerily similar to the Chiefs in many ways.

I looked it up. WR Christian Matthews scored a rushing TD against Texas.

I hadn't even thought of the possibility of him leaving early and going pro. I wonder if any teams would draft him. In any case, I'm glad he's coming back for his senior year. Also was nice to see Weis and Grunhard talking about jumping on the recruiting trail right away.

He had offers from a number of decent schools (cue KSU fan:"Yeah, he would've been a nice 3rd or 4th string option).

As in "replace something that may be inferior"? I hope it would be preferred. You don't bring in a junior to replace a superior player, do you?

Apparently a number of the JUCO players have a strong friendship bond and have been talking alot about their dream of playing together at the D1 level. If you're following on twitter, check #2013dreamteam. Their recruiting each other to play at Kansas. This could be very interesting.

Yeah I think they might figure out they're not the BAMF they think they are when they get to D1 talent.

But yeah, if we could snag some decent players just from being buddies, I'm all for that.
