Nope, but never talk reason to a Methzou fan. There is always a greater conspiracy out there to get them over. Rogue Kansas fans "masking IPs", Orange Bowl committees "being paid under the table", Texas Longhorns "screwing everyone over", Kansas basketball constantly "cheating", and of course, the NCAA Selection committee "actually scheduling Norfolk State round 1!"

It's always a conspiracy to them, and always will be.

It seems like current football staff is better at recruiting anyway ... hopefull that translates to the field.

Tyler Patmon is leaving. That's a big loss. He was probably the best returning player on D wasn't he? Anyone know what happened there?

Lzen 12-14-2012 06:26 PM

Interesting that Patmon is leaving. According to his twitter, it was not by choice. My guess is that he saw the writing on the wall. Coach probably told him his playing time next year would be much less.

Best returning player on d? No. He made way too many mistakes.

He led the team in INTs and was fourth in tackles. Who is better?

Best luck to him in the future but good lord he was bad.

Add WR Ish Hyman.

I wonder if his nickname is "Buster"?

It's almost impossible to defend Big 12 offenses anyway, what's the point? You have to score more points offensively. That was the big problem with KU this year, we didn't score. Our defense was much improved (impossible not to be) but the offense actually got a tad worse. That's on Weis. Hopefully Heaps changes that. You can't score 20/game in this conference and win any games.

We have the DE, Martin, in this weekend. If we can get him and St John to KU, an already outstanding haul would be a certifiable home run. I've never seen this type of buzz around KU football recruiting before. Well done by the coaching staff. The majority of these players will enroll in the Spring and be ready for the Spring Game as well as a full off season of conditioning with Holsopple. If Heaps pans out, I don't think a bowl season is out of the question.

A big reason the offense struggled was the poor QB play. I'm sure Wies knows he made a mistake on Crist. And the freshman was not ready. I see the offense being much improved next season. That being said the upper class men on the offensive line leaving may be a problem. Hopefully not too much.
