Yeah, I had the audacity to wonder out loud if our sevicemen and equipment in Iraq would mean less to help those in need here. (and it was)

Dang, that is un-decent.

You missed the point then, and now, it would appear.

The fact that you could even consider (yet alone post about) politics while people were dying in a natural disaster told me all I needed to know about your sense of "decency."

This thread also is in need of a FAX limerick

Its been forever since FAX submitted a limerick:

There once was a poster named FAX
Who spent all his time eating burgers from Smacks
He joined the CP forum one day
And to everyones dismay
He always found meat in the cracks.

you mean a sense of decency should be greater than being right?

Thought you would like to hear that statement, sorry it's not coming from MEME.

FYI, There is a reason Denise and Disease sound so much alike.

There once was a poster named Redrum,
Whose negrep could give one a red bum,
then his schtick lost it's burst,
him mom jokes too versed,
a rote recipe of crevices and man-chum.

It also illustrates everything you need to know about Duh-nese's troll-like tactics. She knew damn well what kind of reaction she would get long before she hit the Submit button.

The Natural Guard is a non-political entity being used in a political war overseas when their job is to be GUARDING THE NATION. They were therefore not being used in their mandated fashion and being used for political means.

The question itself was not political in nature. The ONLY reason it was deemed political is because the person who asked the question...

and because DUHbya took away from the nation valuable resources and people we need to actually GUARD THIS NATION.

Still, I saw this movie once based on a true story about this lady who was arrested for killing a bunch of guys for their money. In court, she claimed that these men were going to rape her and she was just defending herself. I guess the gun she carried was for that purpose because she shot the heck out of a bunch of guys.

Anyway, she was convicted and got the chair. This leads me to believe that you're right about how women should be treated ... in general. Still, I think you have to look the behavior of each person (including women) on a case by case basis. Don't you? It's fair to say that, based on their actions, not all women are due respect just as all men are not, isn't it?

FAX

People in general have to earn respect Mr. Fax. I tend to give it until they burn it. I can't think of anything Denise has said to anyone that would deserve some of the most disrespectful comments I have seen. Not trying to offend anyone or come across as a "white knight". It really bothers me to see women spoke to in such a manner. Maybe it is because I have two daughters. I would smother the brother that spoke to them like that. If it appears that I have a double standard, then I apologize for that as well. I know I have been rough on Mr. GoChiefs.

It's been a popular tactic. Russ used to master it well. Donger is a nice apprentice. Patt is also quite adept at it.

Wow. That is a LOT of power certain individuals are forfeiting and for what. Every time these annual episodes happen those individuals end up looking like utter morons and end up generating backlash sympathy...

Wow. I know what you mean.

There are some morons running around this board who think I FORCED Hel'n and Jason to "out themselves."

What a fuggin' hyporcritical pile of horseshit. ROFL

Fact is... we were fine before him & we'll be fine after him as well as others. No one is above CP and that's what makes it what it is today.

Fact is, you don't have your facts straight. Parker has been a mod since day one. He gets as much credit as any other mod for the way this place has been run. It would be a huge loss to see him step down.
