What difference is it that its May. It was a beautiful night Greinke was pitching. The place was only half full. It wasn't an "incredible" crowd.

Yep...Saberhagen is the only Royals pitcher I remember COMPLETELY dominating for stretches as long as this one. I hope Greinke turns out better (I'm greedy).

Holy crap. I mean this is freaking ridiculous how good he is. Note that these teams he's beating aren't offensive lightweights, either.

White Sox (2 times)

I mean, he's not shutting out the Omaha Royals, here. This is fun. Now I can't WAIT to go to the game Saturday night in Anaheim. I'm going to show up at the gate....maybe tomorrow. LOL

however... innings are going to be mounting up on zack in a god damn hurry if trey keeps this shit up... we have a real chance to be relevant in the second half... he needs to be strong

Attendance numbers aside, those who were there were fired up, and into the game. And like Gobble, it didn't phase him.

I bet there weren't many dads taking their kids to the friggen' merry-go-round in the outfield at the end, there...

He had only 79 pitches going into the 8th.

If he keeps pitching this well, we won't have to worry about him racking up innings because his pitch counts will be so low.
