Like I said look for more bullshit to come out around Wednesday. It aint over yet.

As these legal issues work themselves out the SEC is doing its best to avoid being sued. Today's meeting was designed to discuss all the particulars of expansion without actually conveying an offer to A&M. Remember that since Friday I've been telling y'all something important that has been missed by most media -- A&M approached the SEC first. That's important because it eliminates many of the arguments against the SEC inducing A&M to leave.

So where are we headed now?

Texas A&M meets on Monday. Expect for A&M to give its president the authority to negotiate with other conferences at that meeting. Come Tuesday A&M is scheduled to appear before a committee in the Texas house. The SEC athletic directors meet in Orlando on Wednesday of this week. All of these meetings will go a long way towards helping to resolve the current legal complexities that are holding up this deal.

The hole story. Kinda long. http://outkickthecoverage.com/how-es...o-sec-deal.php

Its back to a full blown Texas circle jerk. William could not be happier

William's team can beat Texas. In any sport. Of course he's happy. Watching UT jam their collective finger in the eye aTm is one of the funniest aspects of this entire debacle.

What I read didn't say that aTm isn't getting in. What I read was a statement that basically said that the SEC wasn't going to OFFER a spot to aTm because they wouldn't dream of tampering. Buuuuuuuuuuuut, if aTm were to APPLY to the SEC, they would be more than happy to consider their application because that wouldn't be tampering.

Why would I do that? If I ignore you I can't laugh at your predictions that are not close to being right.

Yeah, but if the SEC is a bit apprehensive concerning possible legal ramifications, I don't understand why A&M would think aspects of those same legal ramifications wouldn't fall on them if they said "I quit you Big XII" or just apply to another conference. I am by no means an expert in these legal matters, but can someone explain to me how A&M doesn't open themselves to legal action by FOX and/or the Big XII for a breach of contract? I mean, can A&M show in any form they were done injury or harm by the Big XII that would give them legal justification for not living up to the contract they were a party to?

I certainly can't answer that with any authority, but I do have a theory. Texas pretty much runs the Big XII. That much is known for certain. If the Big XII were to sue aTm, that would amount to one entity of the state of Texas suing another entity of the state of Texas. It seems unlikely to me that UT would get behind that lawsuit.

Dammit that was my next predictions.

Well, let me put it this way: If Fox decides to sue the Big XII for breach of contract because a 1/12th of the package they promised is no longer there, are you trying to tell me the Big XII wouldn't turn around and sue A&M for the same amount because you equate the Big XII as Texas? I have to admit, I don't understand Texas very well.
