Saw Jerry Stiller (Ben's dad) at the Radisson in Branson once. Nobody else seemed to know who he was, and when I spotted him and started to approach him he just gave me the finger in front of the lips "shhh" gesture. He later tracked me down and thanked me for not making a big deal about it.

I smoked a joint with the guys from 311 on their tour bus after a show at the original Regency Showcase in the late 90's/early 2000's before they made it big. Cool dudes except for the "rapper" one, major douchebag and was busy trying to **** an underage girl who was there.

Went to high school with a pro boxer, but he was always a stuck-up twat and lost every fight against anyone I've actually heard of so I dont consider him a celebrity.

When I worked for Inacom, the head of our location was one of 311's uncles. He told me of the time the kid came to him with the issue that no banks would set up an account for them due to so much cash. He then opened up a suitcase full of cash. Said he couldn't believe it. He got them setup eventually.

That's a cool little story.

Once, during Mass when I was maybe 11 or 12, a large older gentleman shook my hand during the sign of peace and said, "You just shook the hand that shook John Kennedy's."

At the time, I was in awe, but now I look back on that and think, "How weird was that guy?"

I met Mr. T at Walmart in Liberty... He was in KC to do a promotional thing for Walmart and hadn’t been to one , ours was new back then so they sent him to Liberty...

The wife and I were walking with our cart and Mr T and his wife walked right by us and I said to my wife, “That was Mr T!!” She said I was dumb and and why would Mr T be at a Walmart in Liberty Mo...

I was sort of doubting what I saw until a couple of workers were talking about how he asked where the shampoo was!
I immediately imagined him saying “Hey fool, where’s the shampoo??”

I was on a mission to meet him after hearing that and my daughter and I ran right into him exiting the candy section... Long story short.. he couldn’t have been nicer, taking time to talk to me and my 8 yr old daughter...
That was before phones with good cameras and I have always regretted not getting a disposable camera and taking a picture with him..

I thought you were talking about Mr & Mrs T's drink mixes lol. That how forgotten Mr T has become I guess. Even weirder is I can't stand Mr & Mrs. T mixes but I recognize it more than the TV show guy now.

Great story, and not surprising... everything I've ever read says he's a super down to earth, nice guy
