Both are seniors. They're going to lobby the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility.

SO Pierson moves to WR due to concussions from last year, Bourbon & Cox out, Wrench was a non-qualifier out of HS, so we're looking at a Juco kid and a freshman to lead the offense.

FML.

No chance he'll move back? He was more effective out of the back field than in the slot or out wide IMO, although some of it may have been the QB.

Can Cummings plat RB at all? A halfback pass would be nice.

Don't know. They've moved Dineen from DB to RB for now, and he played QB in HS.

Saw that video (or one similar) in late July. Pretty impressive.

The bright side is, you are potentially going to get to watch some awesome teams come to Lawrence. K-State gets Auburn in Manhattan in a couple of weeks. Now, I don't think they scheduled K-State in the same way the SEC is looking at Kansas, but........:D

Well its exposure and an ass whipping at the same time...

Smart play by KU at this time.

I can see why they would do it and accept this offer.

The only downside I see to this is that if Kansas is fighting to get back into the Bowl picture, you don't schedule LSU as a Non-Con opponent. You schedule 3 patsies and pray for 3 B12 victories - those are hard enough to come by with your Program.

Maybe, you take a look at Vandy and Kentucky? Those are winnable games at times, albeit not very sexy for the fans - it's like playing Duke instead of Florida State ;)

Definitely. I'm not sure that scheduling the SEC teams is necessarily a smart decision when you are attempting to build up a program. At least I think they are attempting to do that, maybe they just like being a shit team.
