He looks more like a TE than a WR. He struggled in the combine to break out from routes, kinda like a TE. I saw a Gronk/Graham type of player in him. Please refrain to murderer jokes lol.

Walt Powell is going to be the steal in this years WR class.

Barr's first run was slower than I expected. Looks like a 4.5 guy at worst on tape, only clocked 4.66.

My thoughts exactly, and it looked much faster than a 4.66 live. Real headscratcher. :hmmm:

1.62 10 yard out of Chris Borland. That's pretty stout for an ILB with subpar size and frame.

OldSchool 02-24-2014 12:39 PM

Khairi Fortt had a 4.75 with a 1.59 10 yard split.

Exoter175 02-24-2014 12:40 PM

Hitchens just reeled off a 4.72 1.57, not bad.

Hali - Poe - Donald - Houston

I disagree. I see Donald as a 3tech. I dont think he has a place in a 3-4 Defense.

Look how wide Houston and Hali line up when they are both rushing.
I want a big body paired up with Poe like Hagemon because they are responsible for alot of space.

Christian Jones with a 4.63. Just wish he were more instinctive and better with his hand usage.

not his fault, hard to be instinctive when you play every position in the front 7 aside from DT. lol

Pierre-Louis just grew wings, wow!

You realize that we were only in our base D for about 50% of our snaps right? We played mostly in the nickel and dime. The pressure that Donald can bring from the interior is worth way more than a fat guy who will only play 50% of the snaps and struggle to provide pass rush. You can easily find a starting 5-tech on the cheap in FA. We need pass rushers and Donald is the best interior pass rusher there is in this draft.

And how well has having big and slow bodies worked for us? Donald has amazing closing speed for a front 7 player much less a DT.

Dude Mike Evans is going in the top 15.

OldSchool 02-24-2014 12:49 PM

Here is Tyler Starr, only ran a 4.93. I thought he would he slow, but not that slow. Ouch.

RunKC 02-24-2014 12:51 PM

I would love lee, cook or Beckham. We need to bolster up this DL but goddamn are these WR's good
