Holy shit you are really good at talking out of your ass. Carr plays behind the #1 passing O-line. KC's O-line is barely middle tier in pass protection. The time it takes Derek to decide on throwing the ball would spell disaster in our offense and his decision making is super suspect against good defenses.

Get. A. Damn . Clue.

ThaVirus 12-28-2016 11:03 PM

Our offensive line isn't even bad. Actually, as far as pass protection goes, it's been pretty damned good lately.

Not really.

Even if the Chiefs had zero turnovers against the Jets, they'd still be tied for 6th most in the NFL.

But, they had 6 and lead the NFL with 31.

I wouldn't be surprised if they pick up a few more against Rivers, who's been a turnover machine lately.

Very similar styles between Tigger Fistingmyself and KCJohnny, though KCJohnny seems a little less self-righteous than Tigger.

The Chiefs have one of the best pass blocking OL's in football.

They've given up only 3 sacks in their last 4 games and only 28 overall. 6 of those were in Denver and Alex was the cause of a handful overall. Remember Alex running into a sack at Pitt or holding the ball forever on a designed screen in Denver?

Take away that one Denver game and they've given up 22 sacks in 14 games.

That's really ****ing good. Top 5 caliber good. Only a goddamned moron like Blackbob would say they aren't good.

O.city 12-28-2016 11:31 PM

Yeah, they're nearing 20 fewer sacks than last year territory.

And they just played their best game all year on the ol vs denver. Hopefully building for the playoffs.

Because Smith gets rid of the ball faster than any QB in the league. There's a lot of screens and quick slants to get rid of the football. It's MUCH improved from last year but there is still a lot of room for improvement in both run and pass protection

No, not even close

People always say Alex just wins games. There is truth to that.

However, he got hurt and a QB who has shown to be below average since led that team to a SB.

Since being a Chief he missed 2 games against SD, a little over a half against the Colts, and the Jags. The Chiefs are 3-1 in those games with pretty average QBs filling in. We all know that one loss shouldn't have been a loss. Alex is probably the best option we have, but giving him too much credit is as stupid as giving him to much blame. If there is a better option available in the off-season you upgrade like you would any other position.

And the colts/jags/chargers were all irrelevant in those respective seasons. Fact.

Carr has one of the fastest releases in the league- Do you watch any other games besides the Chiefs?

Math isn't your friend.

First off you cant assume zero takeaways in the Jets game but lets take it back to 2 because that's probably the Jets average.

That would reduce our turnover rate by less than .5 per game.

Its not a "huge" turn.

This is where Alex has been odd this season and I assume its because he is getting rid of the ball so fast.

I just hope we can start clicking like we have seen in spurts because we do need more offense in the post season to keep up with the likes of Pitt and NE.
