What kind of reerun believes that a team moves 17 spots up the ladder to draft a QB, and then plans to sit that QB for more than a year, when the coming year is clearly the exodus year for the current starter?

I have nothing to worry about how long it takes. You say it will take a couple years even three well I hardly think it will take after this season and I think it could happen as early the bye week this year. Doesn't really matter because I've been waiting since I graduated in 1993 did not want Joe Freaking Montana I wanted to draft a quarterback that year just because I believe in the draft and developing players to build a championship team with and I believe the most important is in fact the quarterback.

So what ever it takes I'm happiest that the Chiefs finally did what I've been dreaming them to do 3 decades. I called it the Todd Blackledge curse but you have no in-clings of what that would mean. You are not a Chiefs fan you are an Alex Smith fan pretending to be a Chiefs fan but mostly you are here to bug the shit out of people because you seem to get your jollies off of it spewing your rederic all on a message board that doesn't like your quarterback love. We have no reason to like him or have any hope that he will take us to the promise land. However Patrick Mahomes II gives us that hope and for that I am utmost excited. Even if he struggles his first few years I will enjoy his progress because I know good and well there will be bumps in the road and we may have a bad year but I can live with that and still have hope. He can play and learn to get better more so than sitting on the bench behind check down Alex Smith.
