There's not a thing he won't be able to do out there.
Though since my pre-season promise to myself was to be as critical as possible of him, I'll say that he's seems to have one speed on those intermediate routes and that's a fastball. It's sexy but it's hard as **** to catch (especially as the weather gets worse). Would like to see him learn when he can take a little off one.
The ball that was nearly picked and then the drop in the red zone were both examples of catchable balls that would've been more catchable (and probably caught) had he thrown those at 80%. |
