LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -- Former Raiders player Henry Ruggs III was traveling 156 mph prior to a fatal crash early Tuesday morning in Las Vegas, according to prosecutors.
Ruggs made his initial court appearance Wednesday on multiple felony charges after the fiery crash that left a 23-your-old woman and her dog dead. Ruggs appeared in court wearing a neck brace.
In addition to traveling at 156 mph seconds before the crash, prosecutors said he was driving 127 mph when the air bag deployed.
Ruggs also had a loaded fire arm in the vehicle, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors added that Ruggs was argumentative and uncooperative with police. They state that he had an alcohol level .161 , which is more than twice the legal limit two hours after. It is also illegal to have a firearm at that point, they noted.
Judge Joe Bonaventure set bail at $150,000, with electronic monitoring. As part of the stipulations, Ruggs must also wear a device to monitor drinking and other controlled substances. He cannot drive and must surrender his passport.
