They really should've been offering that kind of thing to the Packers 3 weeks ago.

As it stands, GB may just be too far gone to give a shit.

NFC is so bad the Packers win 3 in a row and they're in the playoffs.

GB needs a guy like K. Toney, but probably they'll do GB things and not get a real receiver, again. NYG needs a real WR as well, since they traded away their best WR to us.

The Giants don't think they're all that ready, their beat reporter said they'd deal guys away for the right prices. The front office believes their fools gold.

Probably David Montgomery.

Who else could it be? Mike Pennel?

Could Pennel return to his 2019 form? Would be worth a 7th rounder to find out...

He's better than Nnadi or Stallworth IMO

I have always like Pennel...so I would not be opposed to bringing him back if the price was right.

The #Chiefs are signing former #Bears WR Dazz Newsome to their practice squad, per source

Bert needs to make one more move here. Doesn't have to be significant. Something that bolsters the D Line.

Better position to trade from than if they were 2-6 with nobody performing.

It really couldn't work out any better for them. They're in a tough division they have no real business hanging. They have some valuable pieces that might interest teams. And they're selling from a perceived position of strength.

It'd be a hard sell to their fans, but they're football fans - they'll get over it. We're all gluttons for punishment.

I don't think he's better than either of them, to be honest.

I'm not going to fault you for not watching Bears games, but he was shitty last year with Atlanta and has arguably been worse this year.

Don't think of him as the 2019 version that saved our run defense - he hasn't been that guy for 3 years. Hell, he wasn't even that guy for us in 2020. There's a reason we let him go with no real replacements behind him in 2021. And further reason still that he was barely getting snaps for one of the worst defensive lines in football in 2020.

Mike Pennel is not a good football player at this point in his career. I have no interest in him at all. That's a pure nostalgia play.

Would that make us the Kansas Citty Stealers from the Steelers?

No, he hurt his flexor. I think he ripped it off the bone maybe? The labrum is the cartilage ring that lines the inside of the hip.
