Seattle went from looking like a full rebuild to a team that maybe can hover around .500… where they have been stuck in recent years.
Strange strategy. |

That said, I think a more useful way to think about it is probably to ask how, say, Veach and Roseman would do if they switched positions. Entirely possible, as great as Roseman is, he wouldn't have been so enamoured with Mahomes, and so wouldn't have gone to bat for him as much. But Roseman winning 2 SBs with Wentz/Foles and Hurts, is very impressive. I think Run is right - getting those picks for Wentz, and their subsequent drafts, have been the catalyst for their success. |

Justin Reid was apparently very close to signing with the Eagles, but the Eagles had a lack of cap space

Mekhi Becton heads to the Chargers for 2 years.
|
Becton at $10 million/season vs. Smith at $23 million/season?
I know which path I'd have preferred... |

He's gone to the Chargers. I'd take 50/50 odds that he ends up in the ****ing morgue by December. But we've done a pretty nice job of managing the health of our OL here - I really think he'd have been a nice fit. |
If you’re wondering why Omenihu is still sitting, feel free to look in the draft forum. This just might be the best DL class Spags has ever seen.
Jordan Burch, Jared Ivey, Elijah Roberts, Sai’vion Jones Some really talented guys that play that role and they will be there in rd 3 or later. The talent in this class is really bad news for Charles |
