This draft had so much potential to be awesome, to set our D, great safety, NT, Pass rusher get 4 starters...

The experts weren't watching every f'ing game 2 years ago when we set a record for fewest sacks and didn't improve much last year. They weren't watching when Jerome Harrison set rushing records against us on our home field. I'm not going to suggest that I know better than the front office whether the guys we took will be good/bad players. But I do know we haven't been able to rush the passer since Jared left, and we haven't been able to consistently stop the run for longer than that.

Swap out our 2nds for the Ravens 2nds and take Moaki off and put in someone like Griffen or Sapp and this draft is a homerun.

I want to know how you got appointed as the official draft analyst. Get over yourself. This is all completely useless for at least 2 years. Die in a fire after falling out of an aids tree.

Our defense, which is soft as hell up the middle, added one safety.

Did this really just happen? And we traded two picks for a TE?

Sorry guys... I was rooting for you (I was hoping that you would draft Clausen - I watched him every week, and even with my limited knowledge, I thought he could be a great QB in NFL). I thought you had a great first day drafting Berry, but today... I do not know how to express my disbelief, just feel bad for you the fan...

I thought the JETS did well. We've got Wilson and Ducasse. Steal for both. Hope you do well tomorrow.

Is this an "evaluation draft"?

Nah this draft was "I have to cover my ass and make Cassel look competent"

Titty Meat 04-23-2010 08:35 PM

Look I think we'll all be saying the McCluster**** pick wasn't as bad he makes plays. The Arenas pick was worse than picking Tyson Jackson and trading two picks for an injured tight end is just stupid.

LMAO On nfl.com KC has the 5th happiest war room according to fans in the league.

Note who has the UNHAPPIEST war room. The team that had Clausen fall into their laps.

I think there's a lesson there.

The McCluter pick isn't bad on a stand alone basis, but it's a part time player when there were playmakers that could fill needs on defense available.

McCluster is a luxury pick.

We need the basics.

And then you follow that up with another part time player?

You get full time players in teh second round.
