I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us again. They are just a terrible matchup for us.

North Carolina is getting blown the **** out by FSU, so they will probably drop to 4th in the rankings.

Yeah, I realized that after I read the recap. I missed that part of the second half.

Texas can suck it.

Baylor vs Kansas should be interesting. Regardless of the outcome, it should be an exhausting game for Baylor. Hopefully they will still be thinking about it when MU vists.

Hopefully Baylor gets a hard fought, emotionally draining victory, and then they can be due for a let-down game. :thumb:

When the polls come out tomorrow could Baylor, Mizzou, and Kansas be #3, 4, 5?

Mizzou back up to 5, KU at 7.

HURRAY! We're overrated again!

Seriously - this isn't a top 5 team. They can't hit jumpers on the road and they're a jump-shooting team. I can see them losing another 4 or 5 road games before all is said and done. Unless they can get over those road yips, they just don't have a good way to win on the road.

This spells trouble for the tournament too, with the ever-hyped “bad sight-lines in huge arenas”

Ehhh, good guard play wins the tournament games. MU will be fine.

Take a look at the conference road records of UCONN and Kentucky last year. Kentucky was 2-6 while UCONN was 4-5.

I didn't look at Butler or VCU, the other two teams in the FF, because they were cinderellas, but I'm guessing they weren't much better.

Assuming they are guards that can beat people off the dribble and create their own shot. Kemba Walker will lead you to a title, jacking up 3s all game is asking for an off night and a ticket home.

Excited for the next game. Would love to beat the Aggies.

Kemba Walker also led his team to a 9th place finish in the Big East.

I don't think there is one across-the-board rule for winning in the tourney. It usually depends on who gets hot at the right time.

Struggling on the road against good teams is not a problem unique to Mizzou. I agree we will lose a few more (I predict 12-6 in Big 12 play), but so will other teams. You have to hand it to this team for beating who they are supposed to up to this point.

I think Syracuse, Kentucky, and a healthy OSU are clearly a level ahead of the pack, and the next 10-15 teams will vary in the rankings from week to week. I just hope we finish top 3 in Big 12 play and get the chance to play in the St. Louis regional.
