2 seed, 9 seeed, whatever. I'm ready to see what this team has got for the tourney.

Well.....if I was Frank Haith I would put that on the bulletin board as motivation.
Interestingly, MU is getting a lot of love from the experts even though the committee pretty much dissed them. What would be a pretty nice "screw-you" to the committee would be to win the whole dang thing. Hey Kimmie English...did you just hear the committee tell you that MU wasn't even considered for a #1? |

Once the 1 seeds were announced, both KU and MU got exactly the region they wanted. KU gets Roy in StL and MU gets weakest of the 1s, by far |

NCAA selection committee part of the grand conspiracy against Haith now?
|
Regardless of what others think of Mizzou's SOS, if they win their next 4 games, they are in the final 4. Handle business and it won't matter what seeding or region Mizzou got.

Watching the special on TruTV all the analysts are pretty much BS'ing the assertion against MU.
I want to hear what Greg Anthony started to say something about how "they look at the front of the jersey rather than the body of work" |
Maybe it is a bit of a snub, but I'm perfectly happy with the way it worked out. If it provides a little extra motivation, all the better.
(Though I don't really see how anything could motivate more than a chance to win a national championship.) |
The selection committee just proved what meth-u fans have been denying - non conference DOES matter and the conference tournament doesn't mean shit.
|
Greg Anthony absolutely mocking the selection committee relying so heavily on SOS when you can instead look at the overall body of work.
I love the snub. Hope the coaches remind the players of it every day in practice. This team needs to feel doubted and snubbed. They thrive on it. |
