Get a Dr to write you a script for Chantix- That is the be all end all of smokes if you really want to quit. It blocks the receptors in your brain that give you the enjoyment of a cig and gives you a headache. It also makes the cig taste like crap you can try to smoke on these pills but you will find that you dont want the taste or the pain that much.

Nicotine is a hell of a drug.

day 1 virtually in the bag, wasn't too bad

ate a shit ton of candy but it really wasn't that difficult, seemed like the worst part is when I would do something and in the past that would usually signal the beginning of the smoke break

I fought through it, and nobody was injured today

ShortRoundChief 02-09-2008 12:03 AM

1 week done

piece of gravy

another plug for chantix - all the smokers in my work area have quit by using this stuff. It apparently works great.

Read this, maybe it will help.

Bryan Lee Curtis died in April 1999 at the age of 34. His story, however, continues to save lives. Curtis, a mechanic, roofer and construction worker, smoked two packs of Marlboro cigarettes a day for nearly 20 years. He died of lung cancer just nine weeks after experiencing pains in his side, the first symptoms of a virulent form of the disease. He left a wife, a nine-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son.
