Bump, but only to make sure it doesn't fall of the board entirely lol

The MTS Centre looks nice if the get the Jets back, but I think you have to average 14K now to get revenue sharing, and it looks like they are going to raise it to 15K, so if they do that the Jets will have to sell out damn near every game. With the economy and teams stuggling I think they should keep it at 14K.

Thanks to the STL Blues for knocking off the Wild in regulation yesterday!

You mean the Wild, Blues lost to Coyotes this week.

And the Blues are eliminated from playoff contention unless every one in front of them loses out and the Blues would have to win out.

Yes my fault I confused the Wild with the Coyotes. I tried to change it before anyone noticed lol.

Watch these videos and tell me this is a goal....

Regional Semifinals, tied game in OT. It's called a no-goal on the ice... they review it for ten minutes and conclude even though there's no conclusive evidence the puck was ever completely across the goal line, piecing the angles together shows the puck was (probably) across the line.

When I first watched it, I was maybe 60-70% sure it was a goal, because it looks like the kicking motion with the right leg causes the puck to slide out from under him... but, in the long shot, it's actually his left skate that kicks it out, so maybe it was on the line the entire time?

I personally think it's BS that it was overturned (one way or the other, really, but I don't see how you call it a goal when you don't ever see the puck 100% across the line)...

Yep - I watched the game live. I agree that it was PROBABLY across the line, but I've never seen them do it before without a shot that shows it was clearly over. Very odd.

I didn't watch live, saw it on replay but heard how awesome Schwartz was in his game.

DaFace, do you miss Shatty Lite?

Predarat 03-27-2011 08:20 PM

That might have been a goal but it does not look like enough to overturn the call. Its supposed to be more conclusive then that to overturn it.

Michigan was apparently eliminated last year after they had a goal overturned, so I heard some of the media was focusing on how the universe balance out for them. It was an awful way to end the game, and they never showed a replay at Scottrade Center... they showed it again on ESPNU at 10:30, so we found a bar and finally saw the replays around 1:30 Saturday morning.

After seeing the replays, I finally understood why it took 10 minutes to review it, but even the video that highlights (what could be) the puck isn't enough, IM(biased)O.

We've won 4 games in the past two months. I don't think it really matters.

Well, you got EJ. Shatty scored his first goal as a Blue last week in Phoenix. Stewart has 11 goals in 19 games as a Blue.

In the Cetral League it will be the Mizzou Maverics against the Wichita Thunder, hopefully there will be some controversy and they can get a good rivalry going. Its odd because its a 5 game series, the Maverics have home ice advantage

Game 1 – Wed., Mar. 30 – Missouri at Wichita, 7:05
Game 2 – Fri., Apr. 1 – Wichita at Missouri, 7:05
Game 3 – Sat., Apr. 2 – Wichita at Missouri, 7:05
*Game 4 – Tue., Apr. 5 – Missouri at Wichita, 7:05
