You guys are absolutely delusional. The Bills have a decent QB, a very good RB combo, one of the best up and coming WR's in the league (St. Jonson), a top 5 DT (Kyle Williams), the best DT in college football last year (Dareus), Merriman (who has 3 sacks in 2 pre-season games), Nick Barnett (SB Champion last year), Drayton Florence (Jets wanted him, but we got him haha!), and the rest of our secondary (3rd in the NFL last year).
The Bills got worse? HUH? Insanity. The Chiefs BARELY beat a crappier Bills team last year by 3 points, after rushing for over 200 yards! Don't worry, I don't talk smack and then hide. I'll be here right after the game. Bash me all you want - the Bills will win by a TD or more. PS) Haley made a huge mistake in firing Gailey. He may not be the most glamorous Coach in the world, but that man can sure as heck run an offense. |
My prediction......
We gonna put something on their ass! I'm thinking 20-3 Chiefs. Bills can't move the ball with that line, Hali and DJ cause a few turnovers and Charles is well Charles. |

I do think your D-Line is going to be very good, and if Merriman and Barnett can play at a high level, and stay healthy, your front 7 is very good. However, Merriman has missed more games than he's played in the last three years, and hasn't produced at the same level since he was busted for steroids. Meanwhile, Nick Barnett has finished 2 of the last 3 seasons on IR. |
So, we are delusional for thinking KC can beat a last place team  Last years game is completely irrelevant at this point. I guess you'll only lose to the Ravens by 3 every game and Stevie Johnson will drop a game winner against the Steelers every time according to this brilliant "logic".
When the real bullets fly Charles won't only recieve 2 carries while a bunch of guys are cycled in trying to show what they've got. I could give a rat's ass about Roidman's preseason numbers. The Chiefs pass pro worries me against everyone though, but I have confidence this team can run on anybody. The Bills appear to have improved the front 7, but guess what the Chiefs AVERAGED about 200 yards a game rushing at home last year. KC pass rush should eat that Bills O-line alive. |
I agree with him on the Gailey part.
That guy made chicken salad out of chicken shit with Thigpin. |

However, if the OC's philsophy doesn't mesh with the HC's, then it is incumbent upon the OC to adjust to the HC. If he can't so that, then he has no business doing the job for that HC. |

As for Gailey, Haley prefers more plays out of the pro set, setting up better opportunities for big plays out of play action, while Gailey really wanted to mask Cassel's weakness as a pro set QB by using a lot more spread. I would guess, and this is only a guess, that Haley felt the best way to develop Cassel in the pro set was to actually use it in games. |

Anyway, he's always maintained that he believes the substance he tested positive for was the anabolic steroid nandrolone, contained in a nutritional supplement he took regularly. Granted, that could very well be a lie. It could also be true. The point is that it's been injuries that have hindered Merriman's production...not "quitting steroids." It's pretty much proven, to my satisfaction at least. The question is whether he can recover from those injures and to what degree, not that the only reason he ever had success was because he was on steroids bullshit some people assume. I haven't seen the guy physically get any smaller or anything, either. The guy works out like crazy. |

He had 12.5 sacks in 15 games his third year. That's a pretty fair dropoff in production, and he has done nothing since. |
