Why should a team be punished for playing in the best conference? OSU got beat by Iowa State. They wouldn't have won the SEC. No team other than LSU was going to win a conference with LSU in it.

If you're looking for complete fairness, there shouldn't be a NC game. LSU is undefeated. They are the champs. Every other team has warts. Oklahoma State's wart is based on the fact that they got beat by a shitty team. Alabama's wart is that they happen to share a conference with the best team in the country and thus finished second in their conference.

If both teams have a single loss, I'm going to punish Diet OK for what happened on the field rather than Alabama for how conferences are aligned.
