You doubting Reid's play calling?

LMAO, never fails. The second a backup QB throws a TD everyone wants him to start. Just remember there is a reason Foles is a back up. He looked good and I like him compared to say Daniel but come on, it was one game against a shit defense that didn't plan against him.

Ditto.

I don't know that it had anything to do with the play call. Probably had more to do with Alex didn't find anyone open and chose to run it. He needs to learn to get down sooner.

Regardless. He's probably one or two hits away from retirement...

Concussions aren't to be ****ed with.

Not what I'm saying, Pete.

I'm saying that in January, beating an Uncle Rico led team is likely his ceiling with Andy and the Chiefs.

Alex was a better QB under harb then he is under andy I wish the 2 never met there toxic for each other.

Alex running a real 2 min offense something he just cant do under andy.

Trent Green agrees.

Andy and the chiefs rolled the dice today. We will see how Smith responds when he gets his nugget wrecked again.

Well were going to find out when he goes back out there to play again...

But another hit like he had today and he is risking permanent damage to his nugget and quality of life.

I see this ending only one of two ways for Doug Smith:

1. He returns and attempts his normal style of play, runs into a LB and opts for early retirement.

2. He returns and constantly shys away from hits and goes from being a mediocre passer to being a complete liability.

So we should really start Mr. Foles.

After today it will work itself out. All of those calling for Smith to be the QB, might regret that when he ends up leaving the sport to protect his health.

Smith isn't stupid.

Reerun_KC 10-30-2016 04:51 PM

Another hit or two and he might be done.

Backup QBs always shred defenses it seems like when they come in mid-game...

Let's see Foles do it in a start before the idea is ever entertained of replacing Alex. Besides, its not like Alex wasn't taking shots downfield today when he was in. He was, and with Foles' play today, it puts even more pressure on Alex to perform well.

Win-win.

+1

We did get to see a great 7 minute offense against the Pats, though!

I said that because it's exactly what ended Trent's career a decade ago...
