Were the balls different in game 1? Kershaw was pretty effective

Turner's go-ahead HR obviously the result of glossy juice

You certainly can still pitch well, there's no doubt, but if you make mistakes you're going to get killed. They're annihilating HR records out there. Kershaw set the record for HRs given up in the playoffs tonight. They've hit 18 combined HR in 5 games, which is 2nd all time, and we're still in game 5.

And with all that, Josh Reddick still can't get a hit.

However, Kershaw has pitched better this entire playoffs than his previous playoff years.

So does he like glossy and tight balls?

I don't have too much of a problem with the juiced balls. Baseball was starting to have a scoring problem and it's important to keep making new fans. Like most here I enjoyed baseball just as much before but I can see why MLB would want more scoring.

Coming into this postseason, he posted a 4.53 ERA in the playoffs.

In 2017, he's posted a 4.34 ERA in the playoffs.

Eh.

Why do you think it's so hard to hit a baseball?
