I agree, I think they would have cut ties with him long ago, via trade, or whatever.

I don't think the Titans or Steelers games have much to do with the way the Patriots run their organization. They are definitely better coached, but its that same coach that gets rid of all the "me before team" type players.

They've gotten rid of talented guys because of their personalities.

On defense this team is a wreck. Mahomes is used to that so maybe it's not a total disaster.

The second in 2019 is looking to be close to a third at this point.
Especially if LA progresses.

Nah, they did the right thing. Free market do not lie and Peters wasn't wanted. A 4 is much better than a 6, and a 2 next year, in a better draft class, will be ok. Peters would have made it worse over the next 2-3 months if his "demands" weren't met...

Because Terez Paylor is a credible source who is actually in the know?

All of the supposed shit that people have been posting on here... i.e. the fight with his mother, punching holes in walls, fights with team mates... is 1) Not true, or 2) Greatly exaggerated.

True Fans want to justify this trade as the Chiefs needed to get rid of Marcus Peters because he was a supposed team cancer... it is not true/highly exagerrated

Case closed.

the only one exaggerating anything is you.

No one ever said he punched a hole in a wall

Difficult personalities tow the line there because they don't lose games like that, they win them.

DAT literally quit on the team two years ago... he was medically cleared to play and refused to play, yet he has remained on the roster.

Tamba Hali called out the coaching staff on Twitter this past summer and remained on the team.

The Chiefs were willing to put up with those situations... from two guys with no/declining talent yet give up Marcus Peters for nothing.

This franchise is a dumpster fire of epic fail.

they didn't give up on him for nothing. I think your post shows what they are willing to deal with.

They booted his ass. Wouldnt that say he was much worse than them?

I'm trying to figure out how in the **** people thought that the compensation for Peters was "fair". Unreal.

Sure, that definitely helps, but the Patriots have been winning for well over a decade now and yet they still get rid of those personalities.

So that should tell you how bad Peters was

I hate the trade, trust me, but I believe the narrative goes like this ...”there was only one team interested, the rams. Once it was leaked that we were looking for a trade partner, we had to get rid of him or e would have been a far worse distraction than last year.”
