TYREEK saddle up bud! Record year upcoming!

If they suspend him, and I suspect they'll attempt to do just that, I think an appeal will be really strong. For one, he's not named in the report. For two, not even charges. It isn't like he was charged and then pled down or was found not guilty.

Wouldn't there have to be some kind of evidence that he, specifically, did something for Hill to be suspended?

I'm not defending him when I ask this, I just don't understand the logic of him being suspended for something that 'someone' may have done?

Exactly. The NFL's process isn't like the legal process. It's not about justice, it's about perception. If the NFL thinks they can get positive PR by suspending him, they will. It's completely arbitrary.

Proof in a court of law is wholly separate from cause in the workplace.

No way.

He just said a crime was committed but they can't prove it "beyond a reasonable doubt". Basically, they're declining to charge him because they think they can't win, not because they don't think he did it.

This isn't over by any stretch.

Yea just now we are at the mercy of the fuhrer Goodell.

Dayze 04-24-2019 02:11 PM

so basically, this conference could've been over in the first 45 seconds.

but we get to hear questions that no one is going to answer. over, and over. and over. again.

loochy 04-24-2019 02:12 PM

Dude, if you can't talk to anything then why are you having a conference? Just issue a statement.

Their policy is basically you made the shield look bad, suspension.

TwistedChief 04-24-2019 02:12 PM

Burden of proof for the NFL is dramatically lower than it is in a criminal case.

If his fiancee did it and he didn't say anything about it, he's a ****ing shitbag and they should both be in prison.

How are they continuing an investigation but saying they are not pressing charges? Sounds like a railroading.

Dude took his cues from Mueller?

The NFL's process isn't a legal process. Goodell can basically do whatever he wants.
