I don't think we can run the spinner without Eric Hicks.

Well, maybe Jerrell Powe will still be there in the 4th....

:hmmm:

Me too.

****ing great draft. Let me admit, I wasn't exactly excited about this draft based on the overall talent of this class, but god damn, Pioli has made some fantastic selections. Tomorrow we draft another TE, and a back up QB.

No guarantee on a NT. Maybe they WANT to move Shaun Smith to NT. If so, sign him up once FA starts.

My initial reaction was "wha?" but it seems like a solid BPA move.

If he wanted BPA he could have traded with whoever Philly traded with just before us. Then he could have taken Powe later and an extra pick. This was not a BPA pick. This was an "I-made-a-booboo-picking-TyJax" pick.

not going to knock them for that...and honestly we needed a DE too..

still love the draft

Yup. At worst this draft will be above average even if we totally screw up these last pics.

I don't know why, but I was honest-to-god terrified that the pick was going to be Stanzi or McElroy.

Not really a bad idea.

From what I've read, he's a classic small and quick guy who's a big playmaker. Well-suited to be a slot receiver, but he's not white and therefore can't be compared to Wes Welker so the draft analysts don't know how to describe him.

:hmmm:

He was actually drafted by the Jets in the second round.

That swim move they just showed him do was vicious.
