If we can get the win tommorrow, then we have a chance against Marcum and the next night with Carp on the mound.
This team has battled against the odds and being the underdogs for over 6 now. They have proved that they won't be written off so easily. |

WOW we were 2-2 in the NLCS in 1985. 1987, 2004 and 2006 and eventually won every one of those series.

The MLB iPad app is only 1.99 for the post-season, and now with iOS5 I can just tell it to show on my TV instead. I assume a little geek-speak shouldn't stand out in a baseball thread. |
so the season rests on Garcia. Guffaw. Brewers in 6.

Well, that sucked. Lost my internet connection, too, although it probably just saved me from a lot of pointless bitching.
Let's get 'em tomorrow night. |
Just promise me one thing: a moratorium on all World Series talk. The last thing we need to do is anger the Gods of Baseball.

As an outside observer, I don't think the Cards really lost any momentum. You guys win game 5 and your in a position you guys would have killed for a month ago. Chris Carpenter looks like a man possesed right now. Win tomorrow and guarantee a game 7 at worst and I like your chances.

Great win for the Brew Crew last night! :p
From my perspective on the other side, I agree with you guys that tonight's game is key for both teams. We win and I like our chances of taking 1 out of 2 back here in Milwaukee. You win and the pressure is on us to not only beat Carpenter in Game 7, but we have to somehow find a way to win Game 6 behind Marcum, who's been awful lately. I've been saying all along that I think Grienke has a dominant game in him...just hope it's tonight! Good luck, guys! :toast: |
