But what I meant was there was legitimate concern we'd never throw the ball downfield. They've actually attempted to throw it downfield quite a bit tonight. And tried to get the ball to Bowe.

I think that's as much because he had 43 attempts as because we were taking more shots downfield than usual. I thought the playcalling and his decision making were both just painfully conservative.
The sad part is, I'm more convinced now that we have the defense to beat Denver, but I don't have any faith that the offense can ever hold up its end of the bargain. It's too late in the season to expect some miracle turnaround.
