i don't want to hear shit about the defense

They carried the load. But you aren't going to beat Manning if you don't hit him. You just aren't. Doesn't matter if you have the 2003 Chiefs offense. We should know that better than anyone.

I agree overall. My rule is less than 50% completions is always a terrible game. Tonight's no different. That brings those yards/attempt numbers way down.

But what I meant was there was legitimate concern we'd never throw the ball downfield. They've actually attempted to throw it downfield quite a bit tonight. And tried to get the ball to Bowe.

I think that's as much because he had 43 attempts as because we were taking more shots downfield than usual. I thought the playcalling and his decision making were both just painfully conservative.

The sad part is, I'm more convinced now that we have the defense to beat Denver, but I don't have any faith that the offense can ever hold up its end of the bargain. It's too late in the season to expect some miracle turnaround.

Alex Smith trying to pad his completion % stats apparently… good grief.

Ok i'll take him too. Just please skip over Chase Daniel.

PACHIEFSFAN 11-17-2013 11:09 PM

That was the weakest excuss for an offensive in chiefs history. I don't think Casshole as that bad. At least he would throw down field.

kcpasco 11-17-2013 11:10 PM

D held them under 30. That is all you could really expect.

Bob Dole 11-17-2013 11:10 PM
