It started out in a public manner, and given how close the results were Parker decided to end it in a public manner so as to let the large precentage of people who don't want her here know that steps have been taken to bring about some sort of change.

No, you took the opportunity to take legitimate question asked during a national emergency to :deevee: about politics being introduced to the situation. As if talking about the situation on an internet board hurt those people in LA/MI in any way shape or form. Actually, it's a darn sure bet many of them were asking the same question.

The only people who hurt because of the political discussion was DUHbya and that was because Katrina exposed his cronies and his and their incompetence. The National Guard's absence during a national emergency was just one aspect of the incompetence.
