Maybe, but thats not until Davis gets a whole lot of chances. He's signed for a reasonable amount of money through 2014 just like Shields, but Wade Davis also has 3 team options out to 2017. All 3 of those options are for starter money, we will not exercise those options if he's a reliever.

If he turns out to be a decent starter, that goes a long way for our side of the Wil Myers trade. We have to find that out.

I kind of like Chen coming out of the pen, plus if we made that switch that would leave Collins as the only lefty in the pen.

I will be there to witness it, and the Sunday game as well. High of 54 tomorrow. Just hoping they haven't used it all up for the weekend.

How many teams 5th starter are all that great? As long as he keeps the team in the game and goes 5, then that's pretty good.

With Mendoza I just think its about not walking anyone, he is a very underrated pitcher and I'm glad he is our 5th starter.

AL Central is the only division without a team with a losing record....

I love Mendoza. I think he'll be fine this year.
