Yes. Look at his hair.

Is it just me or does it seem like Cliff and Kelly will bring more energy and swag to 14-15 than the whole team combined from this year? This year's team really wasn't that special. They lacked leadership, energy and focus. Cliff and Kelly seem to have an edge about them. Alpha dogs. They wouldn't let a Stanford dump job happen. I could be wrong, but Cliff and Kelly seem to be go-getters. Loved Wiggs, but he didn't have that BAMF attitude that these guys have.

I'm not necessarily optimistic they'll do a lot their freshman year. Remember TRob as a freshman? He brought energy. He also brought a foul every 0:30 of game time.

I agree. We need that energy and drive.

We also need a vocal leader on the court. We haven't had one of those since Sherron. Maybe Tyshawn, but he let his play do the talking more than his mouth.

Someone has GOT to step up and be that leader.

t rob wasn't a top recruited 5 star freshman either though

saphojunkie 04-01-2014 03:21 PM

If you compare Alexander to T-rob, you need to be thinking of him as a junior. Cliff is far and away the better recruit at this stage of the game. He was the NPOY, all-american, all-star, all-domination.

Cliff will still have a learning curve, as every - literally every - freshman does. How steep it is, we don't know, but at his point Cliff is looking like he can absolutely hang with the best players in the country.

Meh. I'd prefer to see what Frankamp can do next year with some more time in the weight room.

Besides, we're gunning for a PG in the 2015 class.

What does a 2015 PG have to do with a guy who wouldn't be around in 2015?
