Right. Crappy pitching is why you lost the series. It's why you lost both of your playoff Price starts and your Dickey start.

It's okay, you lost to a better team last year. There's nothing be ashamed of, Bricks.

Both teams seemed equally matched.

Royals had better strengths than the Bluejays and vice versa.

I didn't think you guys were going to lose especially after coming back against Houston and from there on you had the momentum and swagger to go all the way. It comes down to believing in yourselves. I think the will or self-efficacy of your team increased after that Houston series.

You don't think coming back from an 0-2 deficit and hitting the most iconic home run of the 2015 playoffs didn't give you the momentum and swagger to go all the way?

If you're being real, both teams came into that series on fire. The better team came out on top.

Outscored by 12 runs over six games because game 4 was a disaster losing 14-2.....you got to face two shitty pitchers in Dickey and Hawkins that game. Both guys aren't on the playoff roster this year. It probably be different if you had to face JA Happ, Biagini, Grilli or Sanchez. Jays have much better pitching this year compared to last year.

You're doing a pretty bad job of justifying the statement the Blue Jays deserved to win the series vs the Royals in 2015.

Got to? So by definition your 2 shitty pitchers = not the better team. No one forced Toronto to pitch them.

You mean because they won more games and had home field?

What metric are you figuring the defending AL Champion who subsequently went on to win the World Series isn't the better team and less deserving to win the series?

You've been eating too many reerun sandwiches.

You know what the difference is, Jays are in the toughest division in baseball.

When you go through a 162 game schedule and have to face the toughest division compared to your division which ain't so tough, the team with the harder division has less mental stamina compared to the other. So come playoff time, you had more stamina to go the distance.

Home field makes the difference.

Your park isn't as much of a hitting ballpark compared to the Rogers Centre.

I bet you know a thing or two about stamina.

If only you were manager. You could have played under protest and explained the deal to the league offices.

Red Sox in deep now. Down 4-1 late against the Indians bullpen.

Anyong Bluth 10-10-2016 06:40 PM

So far, this postseason the games are 1000x less entertaining compared to the last 2 seasons. Royals obviously fun to watch, but other than Cubs Giants game 1, the rest have been bleh...

Impressed with the ****ing Indians! Go Tribe!!!

Then maybe you should've won more games than the Royals in the regular season.

Can't believe Cleveland is giving Boston the business this bad.

Red Sox have an unbelievable offense but as we have seen, their pitching staff has weaknesses. Good pitching usually gets you deeper into the playoffs, as we have seen with the Royals, Giants, Cardinals, etc.

JFC when are you going to admit you lost to a better team? In 2014 when we lost the WS to the Giants most knowledgeable Royals fans didn't whine and make excuses like little bitches. Most of us acknowledged that Madison Bumgardner put up a superhuman pitching performance that put that put San Francisco over the top thus making them the better team. As heartbreaking as it was and as close as that series was, the Giants were the better team that year.
