Funny thing, her being a Steelers fan, she is all confident and arrogant about the game. I'm already making excuses...like, "if you beat us, it's all because of the "yada-yada" NFL, "yada-yada," Antonio Brown promotions, "blah-blah," the refs, "blah-blah" the media loves the Steelers, "blah-blah," it's fixed, "yada-yada" Alex Smith, etc...

My wife is a hard core Steelers fan as well. She was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. Her whole family is that way. I'm actually happy ti be almost 2000 miles away from her family for this game.

She's been consistently bringing up the game since Pitt beat Mia last night and I'm being as cool as a cucumber watching her squirm because she can't make me nervous. Quiet confidence will drive them crazy. Try it out. On top of that, I honestly believe Chiefs are going to beat the Steelers on Sunday.

Either way, you two need to have a PIIHB bet

Kind of funny: I turned the game on a bit late- shortly after Pitt had gone up 7-0. One of the first things I see is Baccari Rambo and I think to myself "He's still in the league and playing for Miami? Their defense must be really bad". Literally the very next play he misses a huge tackle on AB's second TD.

He's a weird case. It's not like he bounces back and forth between the street and a backup position. He bounces back and forth between the street and a starting position. Every time I think he's gone, he shows up starting for some new team.

In this case, I think he ended up starting because Reshad Jones went down for the year, which probably really hurt Miami.

I couldn't pull it off back when we used to still arrive home at 2am , heavily buzzed before getting married. The only way I'm pulling that off now is with ether. Rico might have better luck.

I'm too gerthy. I've tried. Won't happen.

And.. what if the Chiefs don't win and he loses the bet?!

I sense a trickle of pee ran down the legs when this thread was made?

Do you all suppose Reid will put Hill back for K/O returns as well? Another poster asked this as well. I wouldn't be surprised I guess, considering the event. What do you all think?

I think that would be a very good idea.

Possibly, depending on the score? I think you wouldn't want Hill to take a beating running kickoffs back on top of punts and the workload he's going to see on offense, but then again it IS the playoffs and you want your playmakers to make plays....

I could see them putting him back for kickoffs in the second half if they need a spark. The Giants did that with OBJ yesterday. It didn't work for them, but Tyreek is a much better returner.

Simply Red 01-09-2017 11:57 AM

we'll be fine.

Tyreek Hill is 22 years old and has a body built to take hits. I still find it amazing that guy is as fast as he is for being so stalky. He'll be in on kickoffs, punt returns and all day on offense. That guy is built for big games and only 2 games get bigger than this upcoming game.

Short answer: yes
