Rough, rough home stand. I won't give up on this team yet, but that was such a golden opportunity and they basically drew blanks. Winning 2 out of 6 when they should have won all 6 is really unfortunate.

How we lost 4 of the last 5 is too depressing. We had a 75%+ chance to win all of them late.

The bullpen really misses a non-injured, dominant Davis and a solid Hoch.

If the Royals have those two, you gotta think at worst they lose maybe 2 games on the homestand, more likely one . . . .

As someone who played poker for a living for 3 years, sometimes you just run real real bad. Worse than you thought possible. You feel like God is kicking you in the dick over and over and over.

And the worst of it is you never know when it's going to stop. Or when it could come out of the shadows to haunt you again. A mentor of mine calls it "The thing which you dare not speak it's name".

We've run real real good at times in the last two years. Probably what it feels like to be a Steelers fan.

So how do we stop Blowkeem Chokia from throwing any more high leverage innings? It has to be stopped somehow

Soria has no business being called in with runners on or unless they are up by at minimum 3+ runs. I'd almost say 4, but 3 is manageable if he's got a short leash.
