Since the PS3 doesn't seem to have the overheating problems that Xbox has, how many actually put this on a shelf on the entertainment center rather than on top of the center.

I have mine in an entertainment center shelf but the back panel is cut open and it has about 8 inches above it and six on either side.
The PS3 does kick out the heat. I had to raise the shelf above it because it overheated (and temporarily froze) the DIRECTV receiver right above it.

Mine arrived today with a copy of GTA:LCS and i love it. Should have bought one along time ago.:thumb:

Finally broke down and bought myself a PS3 yesterday as an early birthday present. It is a sweet piece of machinery. I only have GTA for the moment.
