One thing that seems odd to me (or maybe I'm just doing it wrong) is that I have to remove a player off of my draft board back into the players available list in order to draft him

Man, I'm about to come up with two veteran picks. I'm pretty stoked about this.

Do you have the little box clicked at the top that locks the draft board?

And oddly, I'm having the opposite problem. In my last pick I couldn't draft from the available list and had to do it via the the draft board. Details, details.

No. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but if I locked it it activates the autopick.

Which, if you are on the clock, will cause the guy at the top of your list to be drafted.

The way I designed the interface,manual drafting and the draft board are kind of mutually exclusive.

However, if you are using the draft board just as a list without using the autopick, I recommend the following. Once you are on the clock, move the guy you want up to the top of your list. Then click autopick. as soon as the screen refreshes, unclick it. The only way you could get messed up doing that is if every owner after you up to your next pick has the autopick turned on, the second ranked player on your draftboard will get drafted with your next pick.

Interfaces are really difficult to design so that they are intuitive.

It does, and it'll draft your top player on the board, so you just need to be ready for that. But then you can turn it back off afterward and mess around with it. I think the best way to go for folks is to have their autopicks turned on and just be sure that they've got their top players lined up and ready to go four or five picks ahead of time.

I may be the odd duck, but my top five may change depending on what three or four go directly in front of me. A portion of the issue may be that in the second league we currently have 8 timed out picks between the two drafts.
