Anyway. I'll always root for Tejada; hope he has a decent year left in him (and maybe some B12 left in him too) but Endy Chavez was absolutely useless last year. You know that army of faceless JAGs who seemingly were touched by Jebus and inexplicably produced for the 2012 O's? Yeah, Endy was evidently bent over tending to an ailment and the touch missed. He's one of those veterans who are good for OF depth though.

Realistically, who would he be replacing on the ML roster? Getz? I'm not even sure who our backup SS/3B is at this point, so maybe that?

Tejada is a pretty bad signing, even for utility infield. We should be able to find someone better than that.

Tejada did not play a single game in the majors in 2012, and it wasn't because he was hurt.

He didnt do that bad in Winter ball but reading its a minor league deal & invite to spring training

Apparently the reason why Tejada was signed was because he's doing well in winter ball. Maybe he's here to push Getz in spring training.

He plays softball tournaments routinely on weekends here in So-Cal.

I've played in a few tournaments where he and his brother play on the same team.

Needless to say, both beat the crap out of the ball (his brother hits farther in softball, by the way).

So, yeah, maybe that qualifies him to replace Frenchy!
