Not a bad pick though anyways.

I really like Poyer and waited until that spot to target him. It was kind of a risk because the Eagles need secondary help pretty bad, but I thought the value would meet the need if he fell to there, and he did. I didn't think anyone would reach for him, but there was a couple of picks earlier in the 2nd that had me nervous.

It's a good thing neither of mah teams have a need at corner or I'd be ****ed.

You are not kidding.

Thank God the Chargers picked up Derek Cox or I'd be dying here. You sonsabitches have absolutely massacred the CB draft board. If I'd have ever gone after one, I'd have been reaching by about 1/2 a round, IMO. There are still a couple out there that I like well enough, but the pickings got slim in a hurry.

There's still good value at CB in the fourth. I'm debating about taking one right now. Yes the bucks just drafted a CB in the third, but they still haven't got revis from the jets, so they still have a large need there.

Tampa is not going CB two picks in a row, we all know that's not happening. So Let's get good value for another need, and not just a homer pick, Tampa Bay Selects;

Zaviar Gooden, OLB, Missouri

Doesn't hurt to get a younger, cheaper DT. St. Louis selects:

Jordan Hill, DT, Penn State

Shit. I looked through and his name didn't pop up.

Gimme a moment.

RealSNR 03-26-2013 07:18 PM

Just to clarify, Rams Fan tried to pick Jesse Williams and then changed it to Jordan Hill, correct?

ChiefsCountry 03-26-2013 07:48 PM

Dallas Cowboys select Brian Schwenke, C, California

I just went True Fan on the Cowboys. But the Boys line is horrible and it needed to be revamped. Especially with the offensive talent they have at the skill positions. Schwenke and Warford can start from day one. Johnson might need some grooming but they have Doug Free for now if needed. Could also move Smith to right tackle like he played at USC.

Yes.

I had 3 guys come off the board that I planned on picking up for the Steelers this round. So, now I'm looking at my board and I see a guy who is in a great position to sit back for the next couple of years and learn from some veterans. He could become an elite talent on the defensive line.

The Pittsburgh Steelers select William Gholston DE Michigan State

Thank you, so very much.

I really wanted to draft him as the heir apparent to Antonio Smith in Houston because I figured if anyone could teach that guy how to use his length to rip shit up, it would be JJ Watt.

But then again, he is a Gholston and he did spin his wheels through 2012.

Had he been available to me, I'd have probably taken him and hated myself for it.

I think it's pretty important for him to go to the right team and situation. Houston could possibly be one. Pittsburgh I think is a good landing spot for him. I wouldn't have selected him had I been drafting for a lot of teams.
