The worst punishment I ever got was from my dad once when I was about 16. Me and my sister, who was the troublemaker, had done something we weren't supposed to and got caught.

I'll never forget how shocked my dad's face was when he realized I was in on it. He said to me "I'd expect this from your sister but not from you".

The look of disappointment on his face was enough of a punishment.

I got spankings but they were never with an object.....only with an open hand.

I got spanked but it was ceremony only. My folks didn't have the heart to actually hurt me. And I was a **** up. Big time. That's love.

I don't recall being beaten either. Maybe one quick hand to the rear if I wouldn't stop doing whatever it was I shouldn't have been doing, but I can barely remember that so I must have been really young.

I think this may be Mark Ingram's year. He's playing with a chip on his shoulder and doesn't have Sproles to contend with.
