As many great plays as we made today, that last one is the best. Incredible amount of coordination and skill to get an out on that ball. Definitely the best SS in the AL right now, probably in MLB

For anyone who isn't understanding what Vernier is referring to as Duffy's "true" starts back from the DL, the first two starts that Duffy had after coming off of the DL were originally scheduled to be in Omaha. Instead they were in KC due to lack of starting pitching and were rather unspectacular.

Nice to see Duffy pitching well. Hopefully Ventura wakes the **** up

Do the Royals go into games against better pitchers with more focus?

Somebody made the point that good pitchers are often around the plate more, and we are the best team in the league at making contact. It probably helps.
