So, why does the NFL hate the Hunt family, because that's the only constant tie to the franchise since Super Bowl IV?

Have you ever read this book on the history of Arrowhead Stadium

Very interesting read.

You mean the comment where he kept grunting? Yeah, real credible. How many hits to the head did he take?

All you have is opinions from a few players out of the thousands that have played in the NFL (take any group of people and you will find all kinds of opinions), and a guy that writes conspiracy theory books. Not at all impressed.

how the hell is taking on Teamsters and the LAPD a conspiracy theory?

and why would they take him to court and smear campaign him if he was wrong?

A NYT review of Moldea's book that the nuts are citing:

http://www.nytimes.com/1989/09/03/bo...e-conduct.html

But there is too much sloppy journalism to trust the bulk of this book's 512 pages - including its whopping 64 pages of notes.

You should read the entire review. You should also know that Moldea sued them for libel over the review and lost.

Dan Moldea is a con man. I've read a couple of his books. I believe RFK was killed by a conspiracy, but even a believer like me can tell his book about it is pure crap.

There's a segment in the book which covers the union work stoppage on the stadium after the inaugural game had already been sold out and how Lamar sent his brass to get it worked out.

Purely speculation but who the hell really knows besides those involved what was agreed to in those meetings.

The NFL like any other major corporation is big business.

lol did you pay attention to the interview? the ny times was obviously commissioned to smear campaign his book.
what the hell does losing in court have to do with truth? it has to do with who has the most pull.

again,..why even take the guy to court if he doesnt know what he's talking about?

you have no idea who the actual con man is.
horse players and gamblers started the nfl but yeah..somehow they wanted this to be the legit business?

what is a more gullible belief?
if the games were legit,no QB would be capable of playing into his late 30s.
if the teams played like separate entities more QBs and wide receivers would be carted off a heck of a lot more often..and never be able to come back a week later when they were. I know fake when I see it,I'm the least bit gullible.

LMAO
You're not even good at trolling.

yes dumb ass, the Broncos are always good, always have been. Its not naturally possible to win that much that often unless pieces are moved for you.
All this...because the front office is the best, the coach is a better motivator, the owner wants to win etc. ..are just bullshit story lines. You cant be that lucky with completely different groupings of people/players year after year after year, without some form of external manipulation

There is luck, but maybe you just have to come to the realization that the Broncos are that good. The Ravens, Steelers, Patriots, are just that good.

you arent good at interpreting details.

youre the one who believes a kicker misses way wide from point blank range after hitting plenty of longer FGs.

your the one who blieves the Seahawks won a game after not even converting on 4 fourth downs and turning the ball over.

youre the one who believes a WR can head-but a CB,neither gets kicked out of game, he then makes a catch or 2 that almost win the game and you dont hear anything after about either player on concussion protocol after

he's not supposed to know he's coming and yet he never fell down :hmmm:

I read the entire review because I want to be informed on both sides and interestingly enough the review ends with....

There may well be some insidious connection between the wise guys and the N.F.L. Then again, there may not. ''Interference,'' with its errors and unfounded insinuations, does not settle the issue. Mr. Moldea raises the questions, but has blunted his own sword of truth.

Ok so according to the writer Moldea made some mistakes but yet he still writes there may or may not be shady shit going on which is where I've been at through this entire discussion.I'm not going to call anyone ignorant for not believing hell I don't want to believe it either but after 30+ years of watching and gambling on the game I love I'm sure as hell not going to say it's a batshit crazy notion either.

'luck' or 'that good' dont last for 15 years straight in the real world.

its because the league chooses to reward those owners in that way.
