Depends on the cost I’d imagine

You should tell your fellow DHop supporters to stop saying he is a 1st ballot HOF'er then. You want to claim or put him on par with actual HOF'ers. Let's look at those numbers.

And weren't you the one that mentioned about the Patriots trading for a 30yr old Randy Moss? Now tell me on what planet that means anything in relation to DHop? Are you suggesting that since Randy Moss was 30 yrs old when he was traded to the Patriots that DHop will be Randy Moss lite? Is that what you are suggesting? Or is it just throwing random bullshit out there like the sky is blue, the grass is green?

You know what is dumb? Putting DHop on the same level as Randy Moss.

Toney played 8 snaps in the Superbowl guys, this team has no proven talent under contract at receiver. Veach definitely should be looking into upgrading over Juju.

Are you trying to say DHop isnt a future HOFer??? LMAO

UChieffyBugger 03-04-2023 11:52 AM

So if Hardman and Juju go are folks really suggesting Pat should be given Moore, MVS, Toney and a draft pick? Smh

Firstly any draft pick we get, unless they are totally out of the norm, will NOT make a huge impact next season and we all should know it by now. And with Toney's injury history there's s big chance he misses a number of games too so I very much doubt that we won't get a vet WR this offseason.

OBJ
DHop
Evans
Thomas
Thielan

Could all be available. I watched some clips of Thomas from the few games he played last season and man looked electric. If there's a guy to take a chance on it's him imo.

Dj Chark, Denzel Mims and Van Jefferson are a few other names to consider for cheap aswell. We know Veach will have a plan and hopefully Pat will be happy with what transpires in the end.

I'm suggesting that there are other WR's that arguably had better careers than DHop and are presently not in the HOF. Yes, the jury is still out on DHop and the HOF.

You understand there are onl 30 or so WR's in the history of the NFL in the HOF.

I'm convinced that some of you mothers ****ers smoke crack. This anointing of DHop as the next coming of whatever you want him to be is getting ridiculous.

LMAO...you are ignorant. Go look at the numbers current HOF receivers had when they were 30 years old. Go ahead and compare it to DHOp. Does Hopkins need 2-3 more solid seasons? Yeah, sure of course. Most if not at all HOF receivers played into their mid to late 30s however. He is 100% on a HOF trajectory however. Hay is not in the barn yet he still needs a few more solid years.

Show me those numbers.

Randy Moss played till he was 34. That would mean DHop has 2 full season left if he retires at 34.

Dont have time right now. Youll be hard pressed to find more than 4 or 5 receivers in the history of the game with more impresssive numbers on their 30th birthday than DHop. I am confident in saying that without having all the numbers pulled up.

Juju's injury history kind of scares me. If he's really going to be as inexpensive as people say 11-13M per year, that is still a great deal but I don't know how much you can rely on him. He was very motivated this year, now that he got a ring, he's going to be wanting a contract. It's just a matter of how much this chronic knee problem will hamper is value. Juju needs to be searching for the highest contract possible anywhere, and I just don't see how that would be with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Meanwhile, D-Hop would be wanting to get a ring or Super Bowl to cement his HOF career. I could see him taking less years or slightly less to be a Chief because it benefits him. Also has injury concerns but honestly less than Juju. The only downside for D-Hop is simply his age.

When you get the time I would love to see it.

Juju's knee is concerning. But it isn't like it was hampering all season. He had a flare up in TC and then during the AFCCG. I'm not aware of him missing time for the knee beyond that. Maybe he just needs a little cleanup... Who knows. I'll just let the medical staff make that judgement.

How many years and what is the guaranteed money you are offering DHop?

He wants more guaranteed money, and more money per season than he is getting now.

Chief Roundup 03-04-2023 12:32 PM

Only if we can get him for a 4th or later pick. I still don't like his contract then. He would need to restructure with incentives.

Tell me who had better numbers at age 30. Ill look tonight. I know for a fact a number of the all time greats had some of their best years in their early 30s as well.

DHop isn’t 32. He’s 30. He has 4 full seasons before he passes 34.
