Which I will never, ever watch. :#

I drove 1000 miles roundtrip, canceling my classes for the day, to watch that shit at Busch.

Vomitous.

I'll never forget being there as the Astros closed down Busch II. What an awful feeling that was, and one I hope to deliver to these douchelords

And lets get on Marcum and save Carp for game one of a WS.

I LOVED it! Especially after what Mogilla -the-Gorilla did to us, and Brad Lidge, in our place a couple of days earlier. To this day, I have NEVER seen a ball leave a park quicker than that one...Man - oh - man!

Anyway - you guys got the last laugh so to speak because the Stros SUCK ASS now and you're likely going to the World Series AGAIN, with Lance Berkman to boot.

Good luck! But not if it's against the Rangers...;)

Eckersley looking like a combination of Joe Dirt and Harry Reems!

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-14-2011 09:34 PM

It's nice to have a Cardinals homer (Eck) to balance out the ****s on the PBP.

I really thought that Pujols homer would break the back of the Stro's. One strike away from a WS, crowd going nuts etc. But your team earned its berth.

Bill Simmons invented a new level of losing for what happened to the Cardinals in Game 6 of that series.

Tell me about it. I was there. Minute Maid went silent. Time stood still. And we had to go to ST. Louis - (GULP!)...Seems like sooooo long ago.

"0-1 to Pujols....IN THE AIR LEFT FIELD AND PUJOLS HAS GIVEN ST. LOUIS THE LEAD...STUNNED IN DISBELIEF"

Not that I have that AB on DVD or anything :)

Probably the most famous home run on a non-deciding game in MLB history.

Gibson off Eckersley. Fisk in Game 6.

Marcellus 10-14-2011 09:45 PM

Man I like Marcum starting Sunday.

Even if we manage to **** that up we have Carp on Monday.

Should be fun stuff. Love October baseball and this season has been like taking a dump and then looking in the toilet and finding a diamond.

Considering the circumstances and the fact had the train not been there it may have gone into orbit, yea it was epic.

Also Ozzie's homer. But Gibsons and Ozzies are more famous for the call and Fisk for the visual.
